Samaritan Women’s Centre Indonesia, a name inspired by the story of the Samaritan woman by the well in the Gospel of John Chapter 4.
The Centre assists the women and children by accepting referrals, primarily from local Police Stations, Churches, Government and Non-Governmental Agencies from anywhere in islands of Maluku Province, Indonesia. Samaritan Women’s Centre Indonesia provides transformative ministry to women and children who are escaping domestic and family violence, and/or sexual assault.
Yayasan Paparisa Salele (YPS) in Indonesia oversees the running of the centre. Our hope is the centre will assist the Indonesian government and the community to solve the problems of domestic violence and sexual abuse in Maluku Province.
